Prerequisite: None. Open to the public!
A “typical” (versus “Traditional”) Osteopathic Physician is one who does mainly biomechanical techniques that they learned in medical school. Dr. Furrow, well-versed in biomechanical techniques (bones, muscles), in addition, has 20 more years of training in functional and biodynamic techniques (nerves, fluids, tissues) that are based in the study of human embryology (how we are formed in the womb). So not only can he “align” but he can also balance the body and recruit the body’s in-dwelling healing mechanism to resolve issues. He does not treat symptoms; he looks for and treats cause to help you achieve health and wholeness. Very few Osteopathic Physicians are trained to this extent, due to the additional years of training beyond medical school.
