How to Heal with Singing Bowls – Level 1 – Boulder, CO with Kim Humphrey

Prerequisite: None required.
Level 1 Sound Healing Course is designed as an introduction to the practice of sound therapy. In this course, you will explore the background into Himalayan Singing bowls. You will discover the use of the bowls in sound therapy. You will also have the opportunity to explore using the bowls according to the Himalayan and Vedic Chakra systems. The use of other sound instruments such as the Tingsha will be demonstrated and practiced. The overall goal of this introductory course is to give you the ability to use vibrational healing modalities with clients in a supportive and therapeutic manner.

Kim Humphrey
Kim Humphrey MS CCC-SLP specializes in nervous system regulation. Among many roles, Kim is a yoga teacher, a certified iRest® Yoga Nidra teacher, a certified sound healer in the Atma Buti lineage, and a student and practitioner of Gelug Buddhism.
Through her careers as a speech and feeding therapist, yoga teacher, and sound healer, as well as her personal healing journey, Kim has learned that a regulated, resilient nervous system is the foundation we need to live a fulfilled and connected life.
Kim now shares workshops, trainings, and individual and group sound healing, meditation, and yoga sessions, to support nervous system regulation and resilience. She also shares yoga, meditation and sound healing at Miraval Austin, Paradigm Austin, and Driftwood Recovery.
Kim is an introvert who loves deeply connecting with people. You can most often find her in nature, with a book, cooking for loved ones, or listening to live music (before her bedtime of 10pm!).
